Biography
Christine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience serving diverse communities in Utah County. Originally from Los Angeles, Christine's multicultural background has shaped her inclusive approach to social work, emphasizing the importance of diversity, cultural humility, and community collaboration in every aspect of practice.
She began her career with the Division of Child and Family Services, where she served on the CPS, Permanency, and Clinical Teams. These early experiences provided a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, systems work, and ethical practice.
Christine currently serves as the Bachelor of Social Work Field Director at Utah Valley University, where she partners with students and local agencies to create meaningful field learning experiences. She previously held the role of Associate Field Director for the Master of Social Work program. Christine is passionate about bridging the classroom with community needs, and her work centers on developing collaborative partnerships that strengthen both student learning and agency impact.
Outside of her academic role, Christine maintains a private clinical practice where she provides therapy to individuals and families grounded in evidence-based and strengths-based approaches.
