Biography

I love the field of psychology. I received all three of my degrees (BS, MS and PhD) from the University of Utah. My research looks at the psychophysiology of narration. In other words, I study how the the stories you tell about your life affect your body. It's much cooler than it sounds. I promise ;)
In the classroom, I have extensive experience in teaching undergraduates across a broad spectrum of classes including departmental core courses (e.g. PSY 1010 Introduction to Psychology, Psych as a Science and Profession and Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences) and classes in Developmental Psychology (e.g. Infant and Child Development, Adolescent Development and Adult Development and Aging.)
When I am not working, I enjoy reading, playing the piano and boating!
