Biography
Marcie Gibboney 's last credit was as a Co-Producer for the Disney+ series, "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series." She has worked as a Production Manager/Supervisor, Production Accountant and AD with both large studios and independent production companies on over 30 independent projects/TV series. Marcie is also a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA).
Over the last four years, Marcie has been responsible for the delivery of the Utah Film Commission's PA Certification Program. This certification is integrated into DGM-2110 and at the completion of the course students are set ready. Marcie loves bringing real examples to her classes and seeing the enthusiasm of UVU students for the film/TV industry.
Previously Marcie worked for 25 years as a consultant for an IT consulting firm where her responsibilities included development and delivery of corporate training programs, Marcie has been able to successfully combine her love of teaching with her current career in film and TV production.
Marcie has a BA in Computer Science/Management from Hood College and an MBA from Pepperdine University. She recently completed UVU's Online Training Academy certification program.
