Biography

Kameron Dearing is in his third year as an Assistant Athletic Director at Utah Valley University Athletics overseeing the Marketing department. He was previously the Director of Marketing and Promotions for three years, Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions for six months, and the Marketing Assistant for two years. In total, Dearing has spent eight years dedicated to marketing UVU Athletics. In addition to Assistant AD of Marketing, between October 2021 and July 2022, Dearing was the Assistant Athletic Director of Wolverine Club and Signature Events.

During his time in marketing, Dearing continually set and broke records in ticket sales, social media, and attendance. He oversaw the creation and implementation of the rebranding of the student fan organization, The Den, which drastically increased student engagement and attendance at athletic events. He was responsible for the expansion of the Athletics Creative Services team, recruiting and developing a team of individuals talented in photography, videography, design, and digital marketing. He has developed relationships with key campus and community stakeholders through his collaborative spirit and innovative mindset.

During his time in development, Dearing oversaw the stewardship of many of the Wolverine Club members, overseeing the annual fund and coordinating Club events. He also played a key role in many capital projects, assisting with the planning, presentation creation, and various meetings to solicit donations from community partners.

Dearing has been recognized for his efforts and initiatives focused on revenue generation and ticket sales, fan experience, social media and broadcasting, brand awareness, innovation and creativity, student-athlete experience, community outreach, and attendance with multiple national and international awards.
