Biography

Judge Jennifer A. Brown is currently the Presiding Judge in the 4th Judicial District Court, which covers Wasatch, Utah, Juab, and Millard counties. She has been on the bench for 6 years, where she handles a criminal caseload which involves Class A misdemeanors and felonies. On a weekly basis, her criminal calendar can range from 50-100 cases on a given day. She also presides over a drug court, which focuses on a comprehensive approach to addictions and criminal behavior. Judge Brown received her Bachelors degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy, and her J.D. from J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2002. She has three grown children and two dogs. Judge Brown loves to travel. She has been to each of our 50 states. Her next goal is getting to each of the 7 continents. When she's home, she keeps busy by hiking, camping, and working in her yard.
