Dr. Tia Hollingshead-Styer

Biography

Dr. Tia Hollingshead-Styer, holding a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credentials, is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in social work, research, program development, and training. Her career has focused on empowering communities, designing innovative programs, translating research into practice, and developing specialized mental health and wellness programs. She collaborates with organizations to build effective wellness initiatives and strengthen support teams nationwide.
With comprehensive experience across multiple areas of social work, Dr. Tia has served as a certified crisis worker and has been instrumental in community crisis intervention programs. She has provided specialized training for crisis outreach teams and developed expertise in emergency response settings. Her work encompasses crisis intervention, professional support services, and partnership with various emergency response organizations.
As the founder of a specialized wellness center, Dr. Tia focuses on supporting professionals in high-stress occupations and their families. Her approach emphasizes individual resilience and healing through customized mental health treatment protocols. Through her practice, she mentors other mental health professionals and provides advanced education in trauma treatment and cultural competency.
Dr. Tia is recognized as a subject matter expert in mental health and suicide prevention, conducting training programs nationwide. She maintains an active role in academia, serving as a university professor while continuing her clinical practice and research initiatives.
