Biography

Jared arrived at UVU as a student in Fall 2014, majoring in Communications. In January 2016, he started working for UVU as a New Student Orientation Leader. He worked in that position for two summers giving tours and managing processes in the office. Jared next got a new student job with The Office of Academic Affairs. He worked there until he graduated with his Bachelor's degree in August of 2018.
After graduating with his Bachelor's degree, Jared started working in the Graduation Office. He worked there until he started in the first cohort of the Master of Education: Higher Education Leadership program at UVU in June of 2019.
Jared went back to part-time work while pursuing his Master's degree. Jared worked as the Retention Coordinator for the two years of his Master's program. While in the Retention Coordinator position, Jared also functioned as an un-official, interim Leave of Absence coordinator for a year helping students manage their attendance plans at UVU.
Jared has now graduated with his Master's degree and is currently working as an Academic Advisor for students in the Communication/Public Relations and Psychology majors. He also adjunct teaches either interpersonal communication or public speaking.
