Biography

Enoch Irvine graduated with a B.S. in Criminal Justice from UVU (then UVSC). He attended the law enforcement academy at UVU before being hired by the Utah County Sheriff's Office.
He has been a deputy with the Utah County Sheriff?s Office since 2007. During his career he has served in many different positions such as Deputy in Charge, Field Training Officer and Gang Intelligence Unit team member & team leader. He is currently assigned to the Corrections Bureau and loves working in corrections. Enoch has been a RadKids and R.A.D Women?s instructor for the past 10 years and has enjoyed watching the confidence and strength this helps students to discover.
Enoch received his masters degree in Emergency Management & Homeland Security from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing his PhD in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Homeland Security.
Enoch loves teaching at UVU and enjoys helping students learn and experience concepts and ideas that are outside of their `normal comfort zones' while giving them a good foundation for their future careers. He loves helping students succeed in their goals both academically and in life. He hopes to teach full-time at UVU once his career in law enforcement is over.
When he is not teaching, Enoch enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family. He loves football (both American and European), hiking, reading and music of almost any kind.
