Biography
Christopher Rogers (PsyD, Touro University; JD, University of Denver) is an Adjunct Professor of Communication at Utah Valley University. He is an organizational psychologist whose research explores and analyzes how organizational leaders best manage crisis situations. From a practical perspective, he is interested in how organizational leaders most effectively communicate and lead teams during times of crisis in the context of applying transformational leadership principles. Prior to joining UVU, he practiced for 10 years as a licensed attorney in Utah in both state and federal courts, and held executive leadership roles in various for-profit and non-profit organizations, including as Chief Operating Officer for Utah's largest non-profit provider of homeless services. He is also a business owner, real estate investor, day-trader, and a former certified Governance, Risk Management and Compliance Professional (GRCP). He is currently certified as a Global Professional in Human Resources management (GPHR), and holds a global HR leadership role in the health supplements and sports nutrition industry for a Utah company with international operations in 21 countries across North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
