Natalie Dalley

Biography

Natalie Dalley, MPH, RDN
Natalie Dalley is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Sciences at Utah Valley University’s College of Health and Public Service, where she teaches courses in nutrition, public health, and health promotion. She also serves as the Project Coordinator for the MPH Public Health Nutrition program at Utah State University, supporting graduate students through the Applied Practice Experience (APE) and Integrative Learning Experience (ILE) components of the curriculum.
Natalie holds a Master of Public Health in Nutrition from Utah State University and earned her undergraduate degree in Clinical Dietetics from Brigham Young University, where she completed the Coordinated Program in Dietetics. With over 25 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, she brings a deep commitment to both clinical excellence and community impact.
She is the President-Elect (2025–2026) and incoming President (2026–2027) of the Utah Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, where she advocates for the advancement of the dietetics profession statewide.
In the humanitarian sector, Natalie is the Program Director of Bright Water Foundation, a global safe water initiative focused on point-of-use water sanitation and public health education. She leads international expeditions, trains in-country staff, and collaborates closely with local government officials and community leaders to implement sustainable water solutions.
Natalie is also the co-founder of the Five 12 Foundation, a Utah-based nonprofit that delivers weekend food backpacks to thousands of food-insecure schoolchildren each week. She is passionate about systems-based thinking, capacity-building, and empowering future health professionals to lead with purpose.
