Biography
When asked where she was from, Valerie Atkisson, didn't know what exactly to say other than she moved around a lot growing up. But, she knew who she was from. That discovery and exploration has motivated the majority of her art work to date. Valerie expresses herself with a variety of media. She chooses the ones that will best communicate her ideas. She has worked in 3-D, watercolor, acrylic and oils as well as sound and video. Valerie has shown her work in museum and galleries in New York City, Utah and other areas of the world and country.
