Biography
Nita has worked for Alpine School District for sixteen years, first as a Math teacher and now as a School Counselor. She is one of the first graduates of UVU?s school counseling program. She continued her schooling at UVU and graduated with her CMHC degree. Nita received her bachelors degree from USU majoring in psychology and education. She has also worked as a project manager for a computer company, director of a fitness center, and for the National Cancer Institute. As a school counselor, she understands the importance of helping teens through the biggest, most important developmental stage of life, adolescents. She enjoys learning and finds joy in helping others understand just how amazing they are.
