Biography

I am an Environmental Health Scientist with a background in the enforcement of Health Department environmental regulations. At UVU, I teach the following courses:

My research interests include trace metal mobility in soil and sediment and their uptake by plant species, Phytoremediation, water quality, and anthropogenic impact on Utah Lake. My research has taken me to countries such as Haiti, Senegal, Qatar, and Brazil.

My current project is focusing on the impact of Phragmites australis control on Utah Lake water quality. If you are interested in the exciting world of water quality research, please email me.
