* Assistant Professor at UVU for 5 years in the Department of Construction Technologies

As an accomplished professional with a diverse background in engineering, construction, and education, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Structural Engineering. With over 28 years of experience in the Heavy Civil industry, I have established a reputation as a seasoned expert in the field.

Having acquired a General Contractors License and registered as a Professional Engineer in the state of Utah, I possess the credentials and expertise necessary to excel in the construction and engineering sectors. My extensive knowledge and hands-on experience have been instrumental in the success of my construction consulting business, which I have owned for nearly three decades.

In addition to my work in the industry, I actively contribute to the community through various leadership roles. I served as a Planning Commissioner in Mapleton City, Utah, where my insights and expertise helped shape the development of the city. As a dedicated member of the Board of Directors of the Heber Valley Railroad, I demonstrated commitment to preserving and promoting local heritage and infrastructure.

Combining my practical experience with a passion for education, I have served as an Assistant Professor at Utah Valley University (UVU) for 5 years in the Department of Construction Technologies. Through my role at UVU, I have shared my wealth of knowledge and industry experience with future generations of construction professionals, inspiring and mentoring students in the field.

With a multifaceted career that spans engineering, construction, education, and community involvement, I continue to make a significant impact in the field and beyond, exemplifying excellence, leadership, and dedication in all my endeavors.
