Biography
Sam was hired as the Manager of Student Government which is housed within the department of Student Leadership and Involvement. After spending the last 2 years at Utah State, Sam is thrilled to finally be a Wolverine and for the opportunity he has to work with the amazing student leaders we have here at UVU.
Sam obtained a Bachelors Degree from Dixie State University where he majored in Organizational Leadership Communications. After graduating Sam pursued a Masters Degree at Purdue University. Majoring in Educational Studies, with an emphasis in Higher Education.
Within Higher Education, Sam's passion is being able to help students realize their potential. To help students understand how valuable their time in school can be. To help them network and make connections while in school to prepare them for life after graduation.
In his spare time Sam loves to watch movies, read books, and spend time with his wife and 3 baby girls. He loves sports and is passionate about the Utah Jazz and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
