Biography
My professional journey began with my bachelor’s degree in visual communication or graphic design. I developed a deep understanding and passion for all types of communication in its diverse forms. This passion has become a mission in my personal and professional life, driving my commitment to enhance effective communication.
My inherent talents have shone through in my various professional roles at UVU. I am deeply passionate about understanding and embracing our talents to make a difference at work, in our homes, and especially in professional and personal relationships.
As the Director of Admissions for the UVU Physician Assistant Program, I have been instrumental in developing and growing many facets of the PA program. Part of my current UVU adventure involves guiding future UVU PA Program students through a competitive admissions process. Working with each applicant is an honor and a privilege, and I approach their stories with a keen interest and attention to detail.
My desire to continue learning and growing led me to complete my Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership at UVU! Gaining further knowledge and education as a graduate student while simultaneously employed full-time at UVU gives me a dual perspective that enhances my insights and capacity to connect with faculty, staff, and students. The knowledge and contemporary insights I acquired have transformed me into a more empathetic, astute, and confident leader.
I love the opportunities and learning inherent in UVU's culture. I am proud to admit that I bleed green!
