Alaa Abdullah received his B.A.Sc. degree in Electrical and Communications Engineering from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, in 1989 and M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering from Ryerson University, Toronto-Canada, in 2010 and 2014 respectively. In 2015, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate and part-time instructor in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering at Ryerson University. He joined the Department of Electronics Engineering at the Australian University of Kuwait in 2016 as an Assistant Professor and in 2018 he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Southern University, GA-USA as a regular limited-term assistant professor. Currently, he is joining the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Utah Valley University as a Lecturer. His research interests in VLSI and Circuits Design, and Interconnect and Wireline Communications. Dr. Abdullah is a member of IEEE and a registered professional engineer in the province of Ontario, Canada.
