Dr. Catherine Lui

Biography

Dr. Catherine Lui completed her Bachelor of Science at Brigham Young University-Hawaii in 1989, her Post-Graduate Certificate of Education in English (minor in English Literature) in 1993 and Master of Education in English Language Education at the University of Hong Kong in 1995. She taught English at St. Paul's School (Lam Tin), a HK secondary school where she served as English department head for several years and where she helped students prepare for the HK Advanced Supplementary Level and HK Certificate of Education English examinations. In 2017, she attained her Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Brigham Young University. Her dissertation, Preferred Perceptual Learning Styles of Hispanic Higher Education Students, which was published in 2018, reflects her research interest in the relationship between learning style preferences, cultural diversity, and learning success.
