Biography
David Newman is entering his fifth year as Adjunct Instructor at Utah Valley University. Over Newman's four years he has taught 37 courses of Fitness for Life.
In 2019, he graduated from Utah State University with a Master of Education in Kinesiology. After teaching over 20 courses as a Graduate Teaching Assistant he was awarded 2019 Graduate Teaching Assistant of the Year.
Newman, also coached Division 1 Swimming at San Diego State University during the 2018-2019 season. He aided in training 3 swimmers for the Olympic Trails and helped the Aztecs win the 2019 Mountain West Conference Championship. Newman, also served as an Assistant Coach for the Women's Swim Team at Brigham Young University during the 2019-2020 season.
Newman, currently teaches multiple courses of Fitness for Life while obtaining his Ph.D. in Health Science with an emphasis in Exercise and Sport Science through Liberty University.
