Biography
My name is Stephen Larson, I was born in California, but have lived most of my life in Utah, where I am currently residing permanently with my wonderful wife and children. In addition to my Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency Services from Utah Valley University, I have also completed the Fire Academy program. My first professional experience as a teacher was in Brazil, where I spent three years teaching English. My professional experience includes eight years working in EMS for an ambulance service, additional experience as a firefighter paramedic with the South Jordan and Mapleton Fire Departments, and most recently working for a public ambulance service in the east. I am pleased to have the opportunity to join the EMS instructor team at Utah Valley University, and I look forward to being a part of an inspiring program that has helped shape and expand our field of professionals.
