Jamey earned her bachelor's degree in English from Utah Valley University in 2022 and her master's degree in Sociology in 2026 from Arizona State University. As a proud UVU alumna, she is passionate about supporting students and creating opportunities for them to grow, connect, and succeed throughout their college experience.
During her time at UVU as both a student and then full-time staff, Jamey served in a variety of student-focused roles, including the Melisa Nellesen Center for Autism, Campus Connection, Student Government, the Center for Social Impact, and Clubs Office. These experiences sparked her passion for higher education and student engagement and continue to shape her work today.
Professionally, Jamey has experience in student engagement, community partnerships, civic programming, education technology, and nonprofit initiatives. She is committed to fostering inclusive, supportive environments where students feel empowered to reach their goals.
Originally from the coast of North Carolina, Jamey enjoys attending concerts, spending time at the beach whenever possible, and traveling anywhere and everywhere.
