Dr. Theresa Haug-Belvin

Biography

Dr. Theresa Haug-Belvin is an associate professor in the Department of Student Leadership & Success Studies at Utah Valley University. Her work focuses on the scholarship of teaching and learning, with particular attention to designing effective collaborative experiences in online courses and ungrading practices. She also explores how undergraduate student leaders perceive the field of student affairs and what factors influence their interest in pursuing it as a career.

Prior to becoming a faculty member, Dr. Haug-Belvin was a full-time student affairs professional for eleven years in the areas of first-year experience, orientation, and career services. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Missouri - Columbia.
