Faculty Relations

Faculty Relations provides confidential services to faculty and academic leaders, including mediation, facilitated dialogue, shuttle diplomacy, and policy guidance. We also assist department chairs with performance management and help address interpersonal and organizational challenges with fairness and care.

Faculty Ombuds

The Faculty Ombuds offers individual, confidential consultations for faculty seeking a safe, informal space to talk through concerns and explore options. Operating independently and guided by the International Ombuds Association’s principles—confidentiality, neutrality, independence, and informality—the Ombuds does not report to Faculty Relations or other administrative units.
