Fueled equipment including, but not limited to, motorcycles, mopeds, lawn-care equipment, portable
                           generators, and portable cooking equipment, shall not be stored, operated, or repaired
                           within a building.
                        Exceptions:
                        
                           - Buildings or rooms constructed for such use in accordance with the International Building
                              Code.
 
                           - Where allowed by section 314 of the International Fire Code (Indoor Displays)
 
                           - Storage of equipment utilized for maintenance purposes is allowed in approved locations when the aggregate fuel capacity of the stored equipment does not exceed
                              10 gallons and the building is equipped throughout with an automatic sprinkler system
                              installed in accordance with IFC 903.3.1.1.
 
                        
                        The Fire Marshal is authorized to require removal of fueled equipment from locations
                           where the presence of such equipment is determined by the Fire Marshal to be hazardous.
                        Vehicles. Liquid or gas-fueled vehicles, boats, or other motorcraft shall not be located indoors
                           except as follows:
                        
                           - Batteries are disconnected
 
                           - Fuel in fuel tanks does not exceed one-quarter tank or 5 gallons (whichever is least).
 
                           - Fuel tanks and fill openings are closed and sealed to prevent tampering
 
                           - Vehicles, boats, or other motorcraft equipment are not to be fueled or defueled within
                              the building.
 
                           - Vehicles are to be inspected prior to entering the building by the Fire Marshal or
                              his designee.
