The use and/ or display of vehicles inside of buildings is regulated by local, state, and international codes and regulations. 

Vendors wishing to display vehicles inside of the UCCU Center or any other UVU building for trade shows, sporting events, etc are required to obtain approval from the UVU Fire Marshal’s Office a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the event.  To obtain approval, the vendor or promoter will need to provide a detailed floor plan outlining the placement of the vehicle in relation to any other displays or booths and meet the following requirements:

1. Fuel in fuel tanks shall not exceed one-quarter tank or 5 gallons (19 L) (whichever is least)
2. Fuel tanks and fill openings are closed and sealed to prevent tampering
3. Vehicles, boats, or other motorcraft equipment are not fueled or de-fueled within the building.
4. Batteries are disconnected

An inspection will be conducted by the UVU Fire Marshal or his designee prior to entry into any UVU building.  The inspection will be scheduled to take place just prior to the vehicle entering the venue or building.
