What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for first-gen students who are curious, motivated, and ready to grow — both personally and as part of a team. IF you’re open to new ideas, excited to learn, and want to be part of a supportive community, this program is for you.

The strongest applications are genuine and thoughtful, giving us a real sense of who you are and what you hope to gain from this experience.

Do

  • Share your story with honesty and pride.
  • Show us your curiosity, drive, and willingness to learn.
  • Draw on your best qualities as a writer, thinker, and blossoming student.
  • Be yourself — your voice matters.

Don't

  • Try to sound like someone you’re not.
  • Share deeply personal or traumatic experiences that you’re not comfortable discussing.
  • Use this space to preach or persuade others to your beliefs.
