Accessing Your Employee Email Online

Outlook Online

Access your employee email anytime, on any browser, using Outlook Online.

When signing in, be sure to enter your email address in the form of yourUVID@uvu.edu (i.e., 10000000@uvu.edu). You'll be redirected to an Office 365 login menu where you'll enter your myUVU password to sign in. You may be prompted to dual authenticate with Duo. Sign in using your preferred authentication method (push notification or passcode).

macOS Mail Application

Set Up Your Employee Email

Need help setting up your employee email on your macOS Mail application? Follow these step-by-step instructions and contact the Service Desk if you have any questions.

 

  1. Click the Mail dropdown menu on your Apple menu bar.
  2. Click Accounts…
  3. Click the “+” button on the bottom left of the menu and select New Account…
  4. You’ll be presented with a list of account types. Click Exchange.

  5. Enter your full name and your email address in the form of yourUVID@uvu.edu (i.e., 10000000@uvu.edu) and click Sign In.

  6. You’ll be asked how you want to sign into your email account. Click Sign In.

  7.  You'll be presented with a UVU Office 365 Login screen. Enter your email in the form of yourUVID@uvu.edu (i.e., 10000000@uvu.edu), then enter your myUVU password. Click Sign in when you’ve finished entering your login information.

  8. You may be prompted to dual authenticate with Duo. Sign in using your preferred authentication method (push notification or passcode).
  9. Customize your sync settings as desired, then click Done.

Congratulations! Your employee email is now setup on the macOS Mail application.

iOS Outlook Application

Set Up Your Employee Email

Need help setting up your employee email on your iOS Outlook app? Follow these step-by-step instructions and contact the Service Desk if you have any questions.

  1. You should be prompted with an Add account screen. Enter your email in the form of yourUVID@uvu.edu (i.e., 10000000@uvu.edu), then tap Add Account.

  2. You’ll then be presented with a UVU Office 365 Login screen. Enter your email in the form of yourUVID@uvu.edu (i.e., 10000000@uvu.edu), then enter your myUVU password. Tap Sign in when you’ve finished entering your login information.

Congratulations! Your employee email is now setup on the iOS Outlook app.

Android Mail Application

Currently the Android Mail App is not supported and will not work with UVU employee email

Set Up Your Employee Email

Need help setting up your employee email on your Android Gmail app? Follow these step-by-step instructions and contact the Service Desk if you have any questions.

These instructions may vary slightly between Android phones depending on manufacturer.

  1. Tap the three horizontal bars located in the top left corner of your app.
  2. From the pop-out menu, tap the small triangle to the right of the account name and then tap Add account.
  3. On the Set up email page, choose Exchange and Office 365 as the account type.
  4. You will be prompted to Add your email address. Enter your email in the form of yourUVID@uvu.edu (i.e., 10000000@uvu.edu), then tap NEXT.
  5. Enter your myUVU password, then tap NEXT.
  6. You will then see Incoming server settings. Change Server to “outlook.office365.com”. Tap NEXT.
  7. Your login information will be verified. Afterwards, you’ll be asked to allow remote control of some security features. Tap OK.

Congratulations! Your employee email is now setup on the Android Gmail app.
