Beginning Fall 2023, the Master of Public Service degree (MPS) at UVU will formally be called a Master of Public Administration program/degree. This name change was necessary to better represent our program with a nationally recognized degree within the public sector. Faculty are excited to continue to provide the same quality education that existed under the MPS program to future public servant leaders in the MPA program.
The Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at UVU develops the next generation of public service administrators through an applied and engaging education providing the broad-based knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for public service.
