The annual Zermatt Zombie Run is partnering with Utah Valley University’s Center for the Advancement in Leadership (CAL) to host a frightfully fun 5k on Saturday, October 14. The zombie-themed run will begin at 9 p.m. at the Zermatt Resort in Midway.

All 5k participants are encouraged to make this evening extra memorable by wearing their best Zombie attire. Prizes for best costume will be awarded at the completion of the run. Along with a swag bag, all registered runners are invited to an after party at the Zermatt Resort which will end at midnight.

The 5k will raise funds for UVU’s LeadHERship Conference. LeadHERship is an annual summer conference for young women ages 12-18 that focuses on personal, community, and world leadership.

“The proceeds from this run will make it possible to keep the conference price affordable to most young women in Utah Valley,” said Belinda Han, Director of CAL. “This family-friendly event is not just a great way to celebrate the beginning of fall, but it’s a great way to support the growth of future female leaders in Utah.”
