The members of the Utah Valley University Rodeo team will host an open house, welcoming the public to view their recently constructed practice arena. The open house will be held at the UVU Rodeo Arena on Tuesday, September 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The community is invited to tour the facility, see the livestock housed in the arena, and meet members from the UVU Rodeo team. Complimentary pizza and drinks will be provided.

The new arena is 37,500 square feet and has the capabilities to support every event with the exception of bucking broncos and bulls. With team members traveling from Heber, Salt Lake, and Nephi, having a large arena in Utah Valley provides a centralized location so the whole team will be able to attend practices.

“The team is overly excited about the new arena,” said Shane Draper, Head Coach for the Rodeo team. “They’re now able to go and spend extra time practicing different events, and they’ve even started scheduling their own event practices together. It’s already strengthening team unity and bonding.”
