Marilyn S. Meyer named associate vice president for human resources at Utah Valley University

Marilyn MeyerMarilyn S. Meyer has been named associate vice president for human resources and chief human resource officer at Utah Valley University, where she will begin her duties on February 1, 2019.
 
Meyer comes to UVU after leading human resource organizations in multinational technology firms over the past 17 years, recently serving for eight years as senior vice president for global human resources at Xilinx in San Jose, California.
 
The talent management strategy implemented at Xilinx under her leadership was recognized for excellence by CLO magazine, and she was also recognized by the
California Diversity Council as one of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology.

Meyer earned a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a master’s degree in human resource management from Golden Gate University.
