Accessibility

Compliance Standard

The Honorlock interfaces for administrators, instructors, and end-users are fully ADA accessible and compliant with Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Honorlock has also been developed and tested to conform to WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines for accessible use. Visit Honorlock's Accessibility page for more information.

Military

Students serving in the military and actively deployed may encounter limitations in using Honorlock. In these cases, a student would need to contact their professor to utilize a live proctoring option for their exams.

Students with current accommodation

If you have a student with a current accommodation letter you received formally from the Office of Accessibility Services, make sure you complete these important steps after making the accommodations on your Honorlock exam:

  • Contact the UVU Accommodative Testing Center to schedule your exam for your local students.
  • Contact the Office of Teaching and Learning for options regarding distant student accommodations.
