Social Impact Strategy Trainings

We offer hands-on, practical learning on our Strategic Impact Continuum frameworks that equips you, your classroom, or your team or company to make more effective, sustainable, and ethical social impact.

Relational Care Training

This training focuses on how to build trust, empathy, and understanding in social impact work. Participants learn to foster meaningful connections and navigate the complex relationships that shape communities, emphasizing the interconnectedness of systems and society.

Social Change Design Training

A comprehensive training that covers the key methodologies for designing effective social impact interventions. This can also be broken into separate trainings that dive more deeply into any one of the following strategies:

  • Design Thinking: Learn how to approach problems creatively guided by lived experience.
  • Systems Thinking: Understand how to map out complex systems, identify patterns, and leverage stakeholders and power for positive change.
  • Theory of Change: Develop a clear roadmap for achieving long-term impact by outlining the steps needed to create meaningful outcomes. 
  • Impact Measurement: Gain skills in tracking and measuring the success of social impact initiatives, using data to inform and improve strategies.

Pathways of Social Impact Training

Explore each of the Six Pathways of Social Impact in one comprehensive training, or in individual, deeper sub-trainings of any one pathway:

  • Direct Service: Learn how hands-on service can address immediate needs and create relief in the community.
  • Community-Engaged Learning and Research: Discover how academic knowledge and research can be applied to solve real-world problems. 
  • Social Entrepreneurship: Explore how innovative business models can drive social change and mitigate extraction.
  • Policy and Governance: Understand the role of policy-making and governmental structures in addressing issues. 
  • Community Organizing and Activism: Learn about mobilizing communities and applying grassroots pressure to advocate for change.
  • Philanthropy: Delve into strategic giving, wealth distribution, and resource allocation that can support sustainable impact.
