At UVU, we’re committed to helping you complete your degree.

Our Completion Programs offer  tuition waivers designed to support students at different stages of their academic journey. Whether you’re nearing graduation or returning after a break, we have programs to help you overcome financial barriers and achieve your educational goals. 

How to Apply for Completion Programs

Wolverine Completion Program

The Wolverine Completion Program supports students who are nearing the completion of their bachelor’s degree. This  program rewards and assists students who are on track to graduate within six years of starting at UVU.

In this program, you will receive a tuition waiver and a success coach to help you complete your degree. The Wolverine Completion Program also provides support to help with your transition away from UVU after graduation.

Requirements

C

90 credits completed and applied towards your bachelor’s degree by the application deadline

On track to graduate within six years of the first semester attended at UVU (not including )

Have an updated "complete to graduation" plan in  that is less than a year old and locked by an academic advisor

  • Must be a Utah resident
  • Must be working toward your first bachelor’s degree (associates do not qualify)
  • Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Complete the  application and be eligible to receive federal aid
  • Registered for classes at least ten business days before the start of the semester you are applying for
  • Check in with the Degree Completion Program Manager twice per semester, once face-to-face (online via Teams or in person) and once through text message

Returning Wolverine Program

The Returning Wolverine Program is designed to assist students who have taken a break from UVU and are returning to complete their bachelor’s degree. This  program provides financial assistance and coaching support to help students return successfully and stay on track.

In this program, you will receive a tuition waiver and a success coach to help you complete your degree.

Requirements

C

65 credits completed and applied towards your bachelor’s degree by the application deadline

After attending UVU for a least one semester (not including ) must have taken a break of two or more consecutive semesters

Have an updated "complete to graduation" plan in  that is less than a year old and locked by an academic advisor

  • Must be a Utah resident
  • Must be working toward your first bachelor’s degree (associates do not qualify)
  • Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Complete the  application and be eligible to receive federal aid
  • Registered for classes at least ten business days before the start of the semester you are applying for
  • Check in with the Degree Completion Program Manager three times per semester, once face-to-face (online via Teams or in person) and twice through text message

Apply for both tuition waivers through ScholarshipUniverse at least 10 business days prior to the start of any semester in which you want to be considered.
