Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management

The MS-ETM prepares engineering and technology professionals to become senior leaders in their fields by applying engineering, scientific, and technical principles to the management of strategic and operational projects:

  • Make process-, product-, and project-oriented strategic and operational decisions.
  • Become leaders in the management of technology by providing the link between engineering, science, and management. 
  • Help companies, research organizations, and governments to plan, develop, and implement technologies by specifically addressing real needs identified by industry leaders. 

The program is specifically tailored for professionals who want to advance their careers while still working full time. The entire program is available through distance learning as well as face to face and involves 30 credit hours of course work.

Bachelor of Science in Technology Management

The Bachelor of Science in Technology Management has curriculum designed to prepare students who want to develop skills which will enable them to successfully:

  • Manage complex technical projects
  • Manage people within a technical environment
  • Prepare to succeed in an ever changing environment which is reliant on technology
  • Be on the forefront of innovation and the future of work

Employers are regularly seeking technically savvy individuals who can speak clearly about technical innovations while having the skill set to manage a wide variety of individuals. The BS in TM will prepare this much needed workforce for success

Up to 45 technical credits may be transferable from an Associate of Applied Science (AAS), Associate of Science (AS), or individual courses from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in an approved technical area as agreed upon by the Technology Management advisor and department chair.

Associate in Applied Science in Technology 

The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Technology is designed for individuals seeking to work in a technical area or who have considerable work experience and/or have obtained specialized certifications, licenses, apprenticeships, etc. looking for a degree to allow them better upward mobility in their professions.

An articulation agreement with Mountainland Technical College (MTECH) allows MTECH students who earn certifications in many 900+ hour technical programs to receive 30 hours of academic credit in the AAS Technology degree – almost half the needed credits to graduate!
