Faculty, staff, and students will enjoy the streamlined efficiency of a unified platform for file storage and sharing across the University. We'll walk you through every step of the migration to make sure nothing is missed or lost. Consolidation of various storage platforms to one is both financially beneficial and will support our legal requirements to keep UVU's data properly protected.
UVU is introducing multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all students. Student logins will be protected by a two-step process beginning on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022. This change will further ensure that students’ private data (including email, classes, housing, banking, medical, and other sensitive information) is secure.
Students can voluntarily opt in to MFA from now until Nov. 16.
Your login process will be simplified and secured through the use of passwordless
authentication. You can avoid repeatedly typing your username and password, and you'll
even be able to skip the extra multi-factor authentication (MFA) step. You can choose
one of several intuitive, flexible, passwordless options that will streamline your
access to online university resources.
UVU's new software approval process is a one-stop shop to complete all the steps of software approval at once, from accessibility review to data governance to duplicate software checks to technical support.
