What is a Foundation Ambassador?

The UVU Student Foundation Ambassadors are select students serving as the face of UVU and its student body by telling the story of the University. Their aim is to support the work of the UVU Foundation through student ambassadorship.

Functions & Responsibilities

  • Serve as hosts at Foundation-sponsored events
  • Serve as hosts at Presidential events for alumni and friends
  • Provide tours to distinguished campus guests
  • May be asked to travel to key University events in Utah or outside of Utah as needed to represent our student body

General Requirements

All Foundation ambassadors must meet the following criteria:

  • Knowledge of and passion for UVU
  • Involvement on campus in a variety of ways, as well as occasional off-campus involvement
  • A one-year commitment as an ambassador
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
  • One year of full-time attendance at UVU
  • Full-time student status
  • Weekly availability on Wednesday from 1-2 p.m.
  • On-call availability for events
