UVU Ambassadors represent the university as one of the first connections a future student makes at Utah Valley University. Ambassadors lead campus tours, play pivotal roles at recruitment events, and inspire high school students to envision their future at UVU.

The UVU Ambassador Program helps students grow into leaders. Through impactful service projects and purposeful leadership development initiatives, you will welcome tomorrow’s Wolverines to UVU and grow into the leader you aspire to be along the way.

The 2026–2027 Ambassador application is now closed.

Applications for the 2027–2028 school year will open February 1, 2027, and close April 1, 2027.

Qualifications

  • Must be admitted to UVU prior to completing application.
  • Must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. 
  • Must be 18 years old prior to your start in the program.

Expectations & Commitments

  • Attend fall retreat in early August before Fall Semester begins.
  • Attend all Ambassador Meetings, leaving Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5pm open for program meetings.
  • Must maintain a 3.0 GPA each semester while in the program. 
  • Must complete 12 credits each semester while in the program. 
  • Complete program responsibilities in tour ownership, admission events, and leadership development.
  • We recommend leaving open a slot each week from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. for campus tours.
