Course FAQs

Do I need to take AI Essentials first?

No, it’s not required, but recommended. If you're comfortable with basic AI concepts and have used tools like ChatGPT before, you're in good shape. If you're brand new to AI, AI Essentials would set you up for a better experience in this course.

What tools will we use?

This course works hands-on with ChatGPT, Notion AI, and Zapier, with additional specialized tools introduced throughout based on real business use cases.

How much time should I expect to commit each week?

Plan for one hour of live Zoom time each Thursday, plus self-paced online work you can complete on your own schedule.

How is this different from AI Essentials?

AI Essentials introduces you to AI and builds your foundational skills. AI Productivity Boost picks up where that leaves off, focusing on workflow design, automation, and making AI a genuine part of how you operate day to day.

Why take this course from UVU?

Comparable professional workflow automation training  runs $800–$1,200. At $570, AI Productivity Boost delivers hands-on, role-specific skill building backed by a UVU faculty researcher who works with these tools every day.
