Build the business knowledge you need before day one of your MBA.
MBA Foundations is a targeted, non-credit course series designed to help incoming MBA students build or refresh essential business knowledge prior to beginning their graduate studies. Based on prior academic background or professional experience, students may be assigned one or more courses from the series to ensure readiness for the rigor of an MBA program. Each course is structured to deliver practical, skill-based learning aligned with the demands of graduate-level business education.

This series is designed with two people in mind. The first is the incoming UVU MBA student who has been directed to complete one or more of these courses before their program begins. The second is the working professional who wants to build or refresh core business skills in accounting, data, or finance without committing to a full degree program. If either description fits you, these courses are exactly what they say they are: practical, focused, and built to move you forward.
Do I need to take all three courses?
No. Each course is independent and priced individually. Incoming MBA students are typically assigned specific courses based on their academic background. If you're enrolling independently, take only the course or courses most relevant to your goals.
