Donuts and Networking

Thursdays! Construction Technologies offers free Donuts and Amazing Networking

Free donuts and great career information sessions await in the UVU GT building on Thursdays. For showing school pride and wearing UVU gear to Construction Technologies offices at Gunther Technology (GT) 610D you can receive a free donut from 10-noon! Then, make sure to stop by at 5pm for the Construction Management career information sessions.

Construction Management has one of the most successful career information sessions on the UVU campus. Each week a new construction management company comes to UVU’s GT building to talk about their organization and network with current students. Students can ask questions, learn about the company, and set up interviews with construction management workers. This has consistently been a great way to connect and involve successful UVU alumni in the industry with current qualified construction management students looking for employment.

The Construction Management program at UVU is ABET accredited, which indicates quality standards and enhances professionalism for students entering STEM fields around the globe. It focuses on student preparedness for the workforce, which is a major draw for companies looking to hire in this fast-growing industry. With several student events held each year, including two out-of-state competitions at the national level coming up soon for the ASC and NAHB, UVU is continually growing their graduate numbers each year with 85 graduating students in 2021.

Don’t miss your opportunity to get involved in Construction Management events at UVU. For more information about the program visit (https://www.uvu.edu/ct/cm/)
