Submit a request to start your design project. Design projects vary in time and delivery based on the scope of the project and the number of other requests we receive. Examples of design requests are posters, web design, brochures, digital ads etc.

COST: The cost of design is covered by the CET Marketing & Communications budget. Plan on your department or area covering any printing or postage costs.

TIMELINE: Please submit a request 3-4 weeks ahead of your desired delivery date.

Currently, CET does not have an embedded professional photographer. Photography should be requested through the University photography team using the button below. Departments may contact Rachael Freeman (rachael.freeman@uvu.edu) for questions about photography projects.

COST:

• $65 per hour (one hour minimum) general event coverage
• $75 per hour (one hour minimum) in studio
• $85 per hour (one hour minimum) on location lighting

Additional fees may apply for travel (off-campus) and additional equipment.

TIMELINE: Photo requests should be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to the photoshoot. Photos will be edited and delivered within a week of the photoshoot.

Submit aN PHOTOGRAPHY request

Currently, CET does not have an embedded videographer. Videography should be requested through the UVU Studios & Broadcasting team using the button below to request a video project. Departments may contact Rachael Freeman (rachael.freeman@uvu.edu) for questions about video projects. Our college does produce its own videos on an as-needed basis.

COST: Pricing for video projects vary greatly. To receive a quote, please submit a videography request below to get in contact with UVU's video team. 

TIMELINE: The time required to plan, shoot, edit, and deliver a video vary for each project. As a general rule, submit a request 2-3 weeks prior to your shoot and plan on 2-3 weeks after the shoot for delivery.

All website requests should be submitted as a ticket for our web developer. Please include all necessary information. 

COST: Most requests are made at no additional cost. Some charges may apply for more complex website requests. 

TIMELINE: All requests should be submitted as a ticket (not an email) prior to any changes being made. Small content fixes can be made within 1-3 business days. For larger website changes, updates, and new designs, please allow a minimum of two weeks for these changes to be made. This estimate does not account for approvals or additional changes.

Have an idea for a news article? Submit your idea or request using the button below.  Please note, due to the high volume of ideas and requests, news articles will be selected based on the following criteria:

• Newsworthiness: Does this article tie in with current events?
• Achievement: Does this article showcase the achievements of the college, its faculty, students, or alumni?
• Appeal: Does this article appeal to a larger audience? Would the general public be interesting in learning more about it?

Departments are welcome to write articles for their own department website, particularly when the article applies specifically to your industry and professions.

COST: There is no charge to your department or area for the time spent on writing a news article.

TIMELINE: Allow 2-3 weeks for most news articles. Article distribution will be planned strategically by the Marketing & Communications team, and the Dean.
