Message from the Dean

Dear students, partners, and colleagues,

Welcome to the College of Health and Public Service!

I invite you to explore the diverse and rewarding paths offered within our six college departments. As one of the most engaged academic units at Utah Valley University, CHPS provides cutting-edge degrees and hands-on professional certifications to students through online and on-campus learning opportunities.

We are immensely proud to offer majors, minors, and graduate degrees in aviation, criminal justice, forensic science, emergency services, national security, and public service. Within the rapidly growing and high-demand health-related professions, we offer degree paths to careers in respiratory therapy, dental hygiene, nursing, and public and community health. CHPS is also home to the outstanding professional police and fire rescue training academies for the State of Utah.

Please visit us often to discover the community outreach and inclusivity efforts in which our departments are constantly engaged. Take a moment to listen as past students and faculty share their CHPS experience, and as you look to the future, please consider joining us on our critical mission of student success.
