The Master of Mathematics Ed. Degree

UVU's Master of Mathematics Education has been developed as a part-time program to allow working professionals to continue working full-time while completing their degree.

The graduate courses will be offered in the evenings and during summer sessions to accommodate teachers’ schedules. Evening courses, primarily during the fall and spring semesters, will be offered 1-2 nights a week depending on the discipline. The mathematics courses will be offered one night a week, and the education courses could be two nights a week, with a mixture of online and hybrid.

Requirements

Anyone with bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and having undergraduate coursework equivalent to the Mathematics Endorsement 4 or Secondary Mathematics Endorsement is eligible to apply. Students should get passing score on the qualifying exam or take MATH 6000 (Mathematics Core Review) to start the required courses of the program.
