2D animation and motion graphics can be helpful in communicating ideas.  Although not able to explore different perspectives as easily as 3D, they are typically less expensive and more time efficient.

3D animation allows communication of ideas not possible in other ways.  It can provide multiple perspectives and the ability to dissect systems and components.

Many times 3D and 2D animations are combined to get the best of both worlds. Use motion graphics, 2D, and 3D animations to enhance instruction and create visually stunning presentations.
