Stop by the Gallery 402 in the Gunther Technology Building to view the latest exhibition of works from the Painting & Drawing program in the Department of Art & Design, on display from September 15 through October 1.
Inspired by a journey through the cultural landscapes of the American Southwest, this exhibition, titled Then, Now, & Eventually, explores the transfer of knowledge, intergenerational exchange, alternative ways of knowing, process over product, and the afterlives of objects. Artists traveled to Mesa Verde National Park, Aztec Ruins National Monument, Santa Fe, Salmon Ruins, and Newspaper Rock.
