Title IV aid refers to federal financial aid programs such as:
Federal Pell Grant
Federal Direct Loans (Subsidized/Unsubsidized)
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
And other federal aid programs
By default, UVU can only use your federal aid to pay for tuition and required fees. If you want it to also cover optional charges — like Wolverine Access textbooks — you must authorize us to do so.
Wolverine Access gives students day-one access to all required textbooks each semester for a flat fee of:
$250 for fall
$250 for spring
$150 per block during summer
You can grant or update your Title IV authorization at any time through [insert process or link], but changes only apply to future semesters.
To update your federal aid authorization:
Log in to myUVU
Go to Paying For My Education
In the Financial Aid & Scholarships box, click My Financial Aid
Click View Questions
Read the information and click in the drop-down menu to select your answer
Click Submit
If you don’t complete the Title IV Authorization Form:
Your federal aid will pay only for tuition and required fees
The Wolverine Access charge will remain on your account
If you stay in the program, you'll need to pay the charge out of pocket
Any leftover aid will be refunded to you—it will not be applied to Wolverine Access
This form is under construction. Please check back later!
You can opt in or out at any time, but timing matters:
If your aid has already disbursed and paid for Wolverine Access, that payment will not be reversed
Your updated authorization will apply to future semesters only
For example: If you opt out halfway through fall, the change will take effect in spring
