Can My Tuition & Fees Change During My Graduate Program?

Yes. Tuition and student fees are set by the Utah State Board of Regents and are subject to change without notice.

  • Tuition increases typically occur beginning with the Summer semester.
  • Historically, tuition increases have averaged about 3%.

We encourage students to plan for potential tuition increases when applying for financial aid and budgeting for graduate school.

Residency for Tuition Purposes

Students attending UVU from another state will initially pay non-resident tuition rates. After 12 continuous months in Utah, students may apply for Utah residency and significantly reduce their tuition costs.

Other residency qualifications may apply.
