The Community & Civic Impact Internship Program connects UVU students with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, city governments, school districts, and other government-adjacent or civic organizations for semester-long internships.
The program takes place each spring semester, generally January through April, and is designed to provide students with meaningful, hands-on professional experience while supporting organizations serving Utah communities.
Students are matched with an organization based on their academic background, career interests, skills, and professional goals.
Interns can assist with a variety of projects and responsibilities, including research, communications, constituent or community outreach, bill tracking, policy work, event support, and administrative projects. Specific responsibilities would be determined based on your organization's needs.
