Want to support the Herbert Institute?
Join the Herbert Mission to develop leaders, gather the community for productive civic discourse, and build trust in our U.S. institutions. Whether you choose to donate, volunteer, partner, visit, or support us in any other way, your contribution means the world to us.
Here are some suggestions for how you can support the Herbert Institute.
The Herbert Institute is funded through the Herbert Foundation from a combination of donations from generous philanthropists and one-time funds from the Utah Legislature.
Each Herbert Intern, scholarship, event, research paper, facility, and every other Herbert project is made possible by individuals like you.
Every dollar helps as we continue to build our organization to better serve Utah.
The Herbert Student Organization is a student-run, nonpartisan campus organization that allows students to get involved in all the Herbert Institute has to offer and build close relationships with other students who are interested in public policy. Members of the organization are the first to know about events and opportunities through the Herbert Institute and are asked to volunteer their time to help with Institute events and projects.
For more information, contact Mike Erickson, Herbert Student Organization president and Herbert Institute Student Director.
Looking for a group or individual service project? As a small organization with a lot of projects, we would love to provide a project for you!
Volunteer to help with events, research, election boxes, and other Institute projects. Contact Executive Director Justin Jones to arrange your project or to get on a regular volunteer contact list.
The Herbert Institute embraces partnerships with other organizations to help fulfill our mission. If you have a research project, event, internship, or other project that you feel would be a good fit for the Herbert Institute's mission, fill out this form to contact us.
Herbert Hall, within the Brandon Fugal Gateway Building at Utah Valley University, houses Herbert Institute offices and thousands of Gary R. Herbert artifacts. Herbert Hall is open during UVU hours for anyone who wishes to visit.
